Day 14: An Early Morning Walk

Desperate to make the most of my last day in Mongolia, I set out at first light to explore. The family dog tagged along to keep me safe from the wolves and vultures.

 

"All the light touches, is your kingdom..." Which is kind of true for this lucky dog.

Looks like the dog is better at selfies than me. 

I arrived back in camp just in time to hold the horns of a slaughtered goat as our host expertly skinned, gutted and bisected it. They will be eating well tonight! Here we all are...
